Happy Kids

It is not so bad to be a child in this family. I have been thinking about how lucky I was to have grown up in my family and as I was pondering it I realized how blessed my children are as well. I am so grateful to be able to write this message and know that my children are so loved by all of you who read this as well as by their adoring parents. Christopher and I really love being parents and I can see that it is starting to show. Mitchell and Wyatt are really great little boys. They are a pleasure to be around. They are bright and thriving and learn new things everyday. Mitchell knows all of his letters and can even write a few. He loves to repeat after us, so we really have to be careful what we say now. I called a guy a "jerk" in the car the other day and he waved and said "bye, bye jerk." Not a stellar moment for me. I had to explain it was not nice, so he would not say it again. Thank God I only said "jerk." Wyatt is walking and talking up a storm. He now has more than a handful of words. He says "Booty, Mama, Dad, Night Night, Bye, Hi, No, More, please (or his version that sounds more like peas), and my favorite "I wuv ooo."
Although we have the occasional unexplained fever or the six poops in a day (yes it is from one child, and they are impressive) life here is nothing short of a pleasure. We wake up and play, eat, run errands, make art, laugh, cook and play. Somewhere in all that we learn and talk and connect. I am honored to be the mother of these two magnificent human beings and I look forward to learning playing and laughing with them for as long as I can. We miss those of you we don't see and we send much love. We hope you too can learn, laugh and play with us really soon.

New Year New Beginings

Welcome Friends to our blog for the new year. I am sorry that I have been unable to update the blog in quite sometime. I will make an effort to make sure this doesn't happen again. I will post pictures from Christmas as well as a few parties and just hanging out at home. We had a wonderful holiday season full of love, friends and joy. Just the way a holiday should be. Our new year started with much of the same. We are truly blessed people. We have also made a big decision to stay in New England. We are happy about this choice and looking forward to finding the right place for us. We will keep you posted as we make decisions. Thank you for all of your love and friendship.
